Frequently Asked Questions

I haven’t hit the gym in years. How can I get back into a routine?

Getting back into a workout routine when you've taken time off is intimidating, so I've outlined a guide to help you ease in without losing motivation or risking injury. Just remember: It's all about baby steps!

1) Start with Flexibility Workouts

Your first progressive step forward should be to integrate a couple days of flexibility workouts in order to increase blood flow and circulation while assisting in range of motion and joint mobility. Flexibility is one of the most overlooked protocols of fitness routines, and establishing these protocols early on will allow your body to properly readjust to the new demands that will be placed on it. Select 10 to 15 stretches, performing each flexibility movement for up to 1 minute.

2) Add Easy Cardio

Next, depending on your schedule and time commitment, try incorporating light cardiorespiratory workouts after a couple stretching or yoga sessions. The treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike are great cardio machines to start with. If you had a well-established fitness base prior to a month-long break, your first week may include light jogging as opposed to walking.

3) Start Strength Training

After the first week of flexibility and light cardio, start to incorporate strength workouts into your routine. Start with lighter weight and slowly build your routine to include heavier weight. Make sure not to overdue it and damage your muscles.

I have some friends visiting. Do you offer guest passes?

Yes, we would love for you to bring some friends and check out the Fitness Center. All of the classes also allow non members to come. At any time you can bring a friend for just $5 at the door to workout with you. Do you offer a trial membership if I’m not sure that I want to join?

At the moment we don't offer a free trial membership. However we don't have contracts and you can cancel at anytime. We also have come with a member for only $5 per visit.

Because of spread of viruses and sickness, is it safe to come back to the gym?

Nothing is 100% safe. However we at Life Fitness 365, LLC are constantly cleaning, disinfecting and spraying down all equipment and weights. We routinely wipe down all doors knobs, handles, and surfaces that are frequently touched. We have also placed multiple hand sanitizers all around the gym to make it easier for members to use. We also constantly encourage our members to wipe down equipment before and after use. Another big step in limited the spread of viruses is limited the amount of members in gym at one time. Life Fitness 365, LLC limits its members to 50% capacity for now.

Does your Fitness Center offer classes, yoga, kickboxing, or any other classes?

Yes, we are very excited about building up our fitness classes. We now have Bootcamp and will be offering Yoga and HIIT classes in the future. We also have a Woman Only Self-Defense class that happens once a month. Please check out classes sections for current classes and detail on each class.
